My films have screened at top tier festivals around the world such as Newport Beach Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Foyle Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh and more.
Select award wins and nominations include; winning Best Short Film and the Audience Award at Waterford International Film Festival in 2024 for A Simple Killing, a Shark Award nomination for Best Irish Short for A Simple Killing in 2025 and Picture Day in 2024, winning Best Irish Film award at Dublin International Short Film & Music Festival in 2023 for Forever Hold Your Peace, sweeping the boards with 6 nominations and winning Best National Short at Richard Harris International Film Festival in 2022 with The Wall, and an Emerging Director Award nomination in 2019 for Mr. Eckles.
I am in development on my first feature film, The Others, with the support of Northern Ireland Screen. The Others won the JETS pitching competition during Berlinale in 2024 and is now moving to financing with Western Front Studios, Playbook Media and multiple international partners.
In 2024 I created The Filmmaker’s Playbook, a podcast that deep dives into the craft of making films and television in an attempt to make educational information on filmmaking and film practice available to everyone at zero-cost.
